2022 (GRADUATE)
OUTDOOR: Reset career best in the triple jump when he went 46-6 1/4 to finish seventh at the adidas/Steve Scott Invitational...won the high jump at the CSUN Invitational with a season best leap of 6-6 3/4...competed in one long jump, going 19-11 1/2 at the University of Arizona Willie Williams Classic...finished 12th in the high jump (6-1 1/4) and 16th in the triple jump (44-11) at the Big West Championship...named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2021 (SENIOR)
OUTDOOR: Placed eighth in the high jump (6-5) at the Big West Championship May 14...posted a season-best in the high jump of 6-6 3/4 to finish third at the Matador Invitational Apr. 23...set a career-best in the long jump of 20-0 1/4 at the Mar. 24 Cal Poly Spring Break Challenge...also set a career-best in the 100m, :11.89, at the Spring Break Challenge...named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2020 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Finished fourth in the triple jump by recording a career best leap of 43-5 1/4 at the Mar. 7 San Diego Collegiate Challenge...selected Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Opened season with a fifth place finish in the high jump after going 6-4...did not record a high jump height at New Mexico Team Open Feb. 1 and the NAU Tune Up Feb. 21...placed 15th in the high jump at the MPSF Championships Feb. 28 (6-4)...named Academic All-MPSF.
2019 (SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Reset career best in the high jump to 6-7 1/2 when he finished 10th at the Long Beach State Invitational Apr. 19…was second in high jump in the season opener San Diego Collegiate Challenge Mar. 9 (6-5)…was fifth at the Mar. 29 Stanford Invitational in the high jump (6-3 1/4) and sixth in the event at the USC Invitational Mar. 16 (6-2 3/4)...named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Competed in two indoor high jump events; Air Force Holiday Open (Dec. 7) and the University of New Mexico Don Kirby Invitational (Feb. 9)…went 6-2 3/4 at Air Force and 6-1 1/2 in New Mexico.
2018 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Finished ninth in the high jump by clearing a season best 6-3 1/4 at the Big West Championships…was ninth in the high jump at Pomona-Pitzer Invite (6-2 3/4)…posted his season best in the triple jump at the Beach Pacific Coast Intercollegiate on Apr. 20 when he went 42-7 3/4…turned in his season best in the long jump at the Apr. 7 Pomona-Pitzer Invitational when he leaped 19-8 3/4.
INDOOR: Entered one event, the high jump at the Feb. 3 New Mexico Classic, but did not clear a height.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Lancaster High School…a four-year letter winner…named school’s Jumper of the Year…team won two CIF D-2 titles…personal bests include 44-0 in the triple jump, 21-1 in the long jump, and 6-5 in the high jump.
PERSONAL: Born May 7, 1999…son of Bruce A. Rucker and Gabriela Yee-Anglin…earned his undergraduate degree in anthropology...is working on a masters in Public Archeology...favorite group is Hello Sleepwalkers…says the best thing about being an athlete is “catching up to the best”…best advice he has been given is “don’t do stupid things”.
