"It was an exciting day on the racecourse. The Big West is as good as any mid-major conference in the country. Both championships teams, plus a few others, will have their sights set on earning a berth to nationals in two weeks."
Â
"We came to Riverside to improve upon the last we were here in September. We were able to accomplish this goal. Our teams rank among the fastest in team history. At the UCR championship course over the past 20 years, our women have on run under 1:53 (as a team) three times, today, they raced to the third-best time at 1:52.37!"
Â
"This is the fastest group of CSUN men we've seen on championship day in Riverside. We outran our team time from last month and ran 30 seconds faster than a very 2017 Matador team (2:07.23 today, 2:07.54 in 2017)."
Â
"We have talked all year about honoring the work we put into our sport and celebrating all our improvements as success. I am proud of our ability to take care of each other on the racecourse by pushing together. This was a total team effort."
