The Redhawks dropped to 0-7 on the year after falling 61-54 at Weber State last Saturday. Makayla Moore, a freshman, led Seattle U with 13 points at Weber State. Taliyah Clark and Peyton Howard are both scoring 7.7 points per game which is a team-high. Howard also leads the team in rebounding at 4.1 per game. Saturday's matchup is the sixth all-time meeting between CSUN and SU, with the Matadors leading the all-time series 3-2.

Jordyn Jackson and Tess Amundsen combined for 33 points for CSUN, but the University of San Diego defeated CSUN 73-57 in women's basketball action Tuesday night at Jenny Craig Pavilion. Amundsen scored 13 of her team-high 17 points in the second half. Jackson went 8-of-13 from the floor for 16 points as she added five assists and three rebounds. CSUN shot a season-high 51.1% (23-of-45) in the game and were 16-of-27 in the second half (59.2%).
