ACCORDING TO INTERIM HEAD COACH CARLENE MITCHELL
"This was a much-needed win for our young group's confidence. Playing something bigger than just a win with our Play4Kay game, our players competed with a lot of heart."
"Jordyn was asked today to run the point and had a very efficient day, hitting clutch free throws to seal the win."
"We were playing with a short bench, but we were able to get critical minutes from Michelle Duchemin who gave us an offensive spart. Rachel (Harvey) and Sydney (Woodley) continue to be our defensive stoppers."
"I cannot say enough good things about Kayanna Spriggs' growth and her ability to lock in and play post defensive night in and night out against much bigger players. It felt good to get a win on our home court."

Jackson led CSUN with 16 points. She added four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Michelle Duchemin was the only other Matador in double figures as she posted 10 points.
