COACH JIM BRACKEN SAID
"We got off to a horrendous start today but played 10-under after righting the ship, so I'm proud of the fight we showed. I'm not unhappy with a top-seven finish here but I still think we're talented enough as a team to be in the top-five. Again, the way we fought back today and showed character showed me a lot and we'll look forward to our next event at Fresno State."
The Matadors will be back in action Sept. 26 as they travel to Fresno for the opening round of the Nick Watney Invitational at Kings River Country Club.
