COACH MICHELLE WINKLER SAID
"I definitely have high hopes for this squad. Our team goal was to finish top third of the field but even though we fell short of that goal, we know how we need to adapt our training. We are much more focused this season, and are determined to push ourselves to reach our potential. I'm extremely excited about my two freshman. They showed so much strength during their first collegiate tournament, I know they will make a huge impact on the team."
The Matadors will be back in action Sept. 26 as they travel to Fort Collins, Colo. for the opening round of Colorado State's Colonel Wallenberg Ptarmigan Ram Classic at Ptarmigan Country Club.
