NOTES OF THE GAME
ACCORDING TO COACH CARLENE MITCHELL
"Of course, I'm going to give our opponents credit, but a lot of the turnovers were self-inflicted. No excuses, but we were playing with a short bench right now between injuries and the flu. We're putting the ball in freshmen's hands a lot. There are growing pains with that and experience with that. Give Long Beach State the credit but a lot of that is on us."
