Individually, Nick Fowlkes led CSUN through 18 holes after firing a season-low 6-under 66. Fowlkes began the day on the No. 10 tee and was 3-under after an eagle at No. 15. He remained 3-under over his next five holes before a string of three straight birdies dropped him to 6-under where he would remain at the conclusion of the round.

COACH JIM BRACKEN SAID
"We played really well this morning and it helps when Nick (Fowlkes) shoots 6-under. He could have gone even lower but missed a few birdie putts. We aren't playing as well in the second round but hopefully we can pick up where we left off after round one and finish strong tomorrow."
All teams will complete their final holes in the second round on Tuesday which will be the final round of the weather-shortened 36-hole tournament.
