CSUN Completes Action in Three Meets in Three Days
4/15/2023 8:12:00 PM | Men's Track & Field, Women's Track & Field
NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—The CSUN men's and women's track and field teams competed in three track meets from Apr. 13-15.
ACCORDING TO HEAD COACH JUSTIN JOHNSON
"This was a very long weekend. We competed in three two-day meets over the last three days. However, I am pleased with how the team handled themselves over the last few days. Everyone did a good job staying focused on their events, and we achieved solid performances against tough competition."
"As a coaching staff, we have identified some things we need to clean up before the Big West meet in four weeks. But, overall, we are in a good place right now. The student-athletes are gaining more and more confidence as we progress through the season. We will take a few days to rest up and recover from the weekend; then, we will start preparing for Riverside at the end of next week."
BRYAN CLAY INVITATIONAL
MEN
CSUN travels to the UC Riverside Chris Rinne Twilight Friday. The field events begin at 2:15 p.m. with the running events beginning at 5:20 p.m.
