CSUN - 2024 (Sophomore)
OUTDOOR: Williams competed in seven meets on the season ... qualified for the triple jump at the NCAA West Regional (5/24/24) for the second-straight season where he set a PR and finished 17th in the prelims with a leap of 15.49m (50-10) ... finished as the runner-up for the triple jump title, posting a leap of 15.39m (50-6) at the Big West Championships (5/11/24) ... took 10th place in the long jump with a season-best leap of 7.09m (23-3.25) at the Big West Championships (5/10/24) ... was second in the triple jump with a wind-aided mark of 15.58m (51-1.5) at the Trojan Invite (3/23/24).
INDOOR: Competed in four meets ... recorded a season-best and finished third in the triple jump with a mark of 15.14m (49-8.25) at the MPSF Championships (2/26/24) ... that triple jump mark was the ninth-best in school history ... finished fifth in the long jump with a leap of 7.12m (23-4.5) at the MPSF Championships (2/25/24) ... set a PR in the long jump of 7.27m (23-10.25) to finish second at the Friday Night Ax 'Em Open (1/12/24)

OUTDOOR: Won the Big West Championships' triple jump with a leap of 49-8 1/2 ... his performance is the third-longest by a Matadors' freshman in school history ... his victory is the third for CSUN in the Big West triple jump in the past five league meets ... qualified for the NCAA West Regional in the triple jump where he improved upon his seed by 10 spots, to finish 38th (48-3 1/2) ... won the triple jump (49-7 3/4) at the West Coast Relays ... was second in the triple jump (49-5 1/2) at the Steve Scott Invitational ... placed third in the triple jump (45-9 1/4) at the Fresno State Bulldog Classic ... finished eighth in the long jump at the Big West Championships ... won the long jump at the UC Riverside Chris Rinne Twilight (23-3 1/2) ... posted a season best in the long jump (23-8 3/4) to place sixth at the Steve Scott Invitational ... finished third in the long jump at the West Coast Relays (22-11).

Son of Lorenzo and Shakenia Williams … favorites include the Los Angeles Lakers, Kyrie Irving, Denzel Washington, Natalie Portman, Boondocks, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Chicken Sandwichs, New Edition, and Lil Wayne … chose CSUN because his high school recommended it to him and when he investigated the school, it was amazing … says greatest sports moment so far is resetting his personal best in the triple jump … says the best thing about being an athlete is competing against yourself … says the toughest thing about being an athlete is losing … the most famous people he has met are Zach and Cody … the person in history he would like to meet is Jesus … would like to switch places for one day with Kevin Hart … the two people he would like to have dinner with are Bernie Mac and Kat Williams … the best advice he has been given is that there is always someone out there better than you … his advice to young people is find something you like and stick to it...says his greatest hero is his father who he says is the smartest person he knows.
