COACH JIM BRACKEN SAID
"Nick got the best out of what he could today. He struggled with his iron play but made his short game saved him. This course is a good lead-up to La Quinta. It's a similar course in the speed of the greens so we'll hope to post a good round tomorrow in our final round before conference."
The Matadors will be paired with BYU, Utah Valley and Wyoming for the final round which gets underway Saturday at 10:10 a.m. off the No. 1 tee.
