CSUN resume action this week at the UC Riverside Invitational. The women's 6000m invitational is 7:15 a.m. while the men's 8000m invitational is a 7:50 a.m. start. Scheduled to compete are Arizona, Azusa Pacific, Cal Poly, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State LA, CSUN, Cal State San Bernardino, Cal State San Marcos, California Baptist, Cal Tech, Chapman, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Concordia-Irvine, Fresno Pacific, Fresno State, Grand Canyon, Hope International, La Verne, Long Beach State, Mt. SAC, Occidental, Paradice Valley College, Park University-Gilbert, Pepperdine, Redlands, San Diego State, College of Southern Nevada, Southern Utah, Tohono O'odham CC, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, UNLV, Utah Tech, Utah Valley, Vanguard, and Whittier.

LAST TIME OUT
Atticus Hall turned in the top CSUN performance at the Sept. 1 Big West Preview when he was awarded 32nd place points (40th overall) and recorded a time of 18:55.7. Cal Poly's Spencer Pickren was the individual winner (18:01.7), while Cal Poly took the team honors (33). As a team, the Matadors were seventh (195).

Nicole Contreras was the top finishing Matador in the 5k race. She received 36th place points (41st overall) at 19:08.3. UC Riverside's Linda Perez won the individual race (17.35.5), while Cal Poly took the team honors (39). As a team, the Matadors were eighth (248).
