NOTES OF THE GAME
ACCORDING TO COACH CARLENE MITCHELL
"I'm disappointed. I mean, I'm going to give Santa Barbara credit but they are not 30 points better- what the scoreboard showed tonight. I saw glimpses of the things we've improved on, always going to give our kids credit for the effort that has not faltered from day one."
"Amiyah is a scorer. It's taken her time to adjust sometimes to the speed of the game. You know, playing against bigger physical players, but she's done a great job as a freshman, and she has a scorer's mentality. She's making the adjustments to make good shots within our offense."
