COACH MICHELLE WINKLER SAID
"Today's weather was crazy. The first half of the round was sunny and warm, and the second half was cold, windy, and rainy. Considering this, we played fairly well. We are so proud of Kim's finish today. Being only eight shots back of first is fuel for us to stay aggressive tomorrow and Saturday, we can win!"
The Matadors will be paired with Oral Roberts, Wyoming, and Weber State for the second round which gets underway Friday morning beginning at 11 a.m. local time.
