COACH ARI HOMAYUNÂ SAID
"Five matches in two days is a whole lot of volleyball, and I'm proud of the girls for finishing the tournament strong, even in the face of some adversity. Again, it's been awesome to see different people continue to step up and support each other. Proud of how they battled at the end. We were scrappy and fought hard and that was definitely reflected in the scores of the matches. Time to rest up and prepare for our matches this Wednesday."
UP NEXT
After five matches in Bakersfield, the Matadors will return home next Wednesday to host a tri-dual against Concordia Irvine (10 a.m.) and Cal State LA (2 p.m.) at the CSUN Beach Volleyball Complex.
