ACCORDING TO COACH JUSTIN JOHNSON
"It was a great day to be a Matador. The team competed very well today. We had five event winners and several more podium finishes. I'm very proud of the way the team attacked this meet. Several people stepped up when we needed them to and help put more points on the board for us. Along with some great wins we had a few school records broken and personal records set. I want to thank my coaching staff and the student-athletes as well as our athletic training staff and strength and conditioning staff for all the time and effort they put into this program. We wouldn't be here without them. We have two weeks until the NCAA preliminary rounds where we should have a good group of Matadors representing CSUN."
