WORLEY, Idaho - Behind freshman Ariya Soldwisch, the CSUN women's golf team is the lone team under par after one round of the Eagle Invitational Sunday at Circling Raven G.C.
Soldwisch holds the individual lead while the Matadors carded a team round of 2-under 286 to hold the team lead after one round. CSUN's 286 team round is third-best in program history.
The tournament was scheduled for 36 holes on Sunday but the opening round was canceled due to pin placements. CSUN holds a four-shot lead over Weber State (290) and are five shots ahead of Seattle (291). A total of 13 teams are competing.

- Soldwisch is in the lead by one shot after firing a 3-under 69.
- Kim Turgut is also in the top five after posting a 2-under 70 in round one.
- Gracie Piar made it three CSUN golfers in the top 15 after finishing at 1-over 73.
- Nicole Tanoue is just outside the top 20 as a 2-over 74 has the CSUN sophomore in 22nd place.
- Meghan Paracuelles rounded out the Matador scoring as she is 47th at 6-over 78.
- Ellie Shirley, competing as an individual, is 78th at 15-over 87.
The Matadors will tee off the final round Monday morning.
