HEAD COACH JIM BRACKEN SAID
"The course was set up for better scoring today; most teams took advantage of it, but we didn't. It was one big step forward leading after round one, but we haven't been in that position much this season, so it's a learning experience for the guys. Still, we finished 10th out of 20 teams, so I'm hoping to be a little more consistent in the next two events and build up some momentum heading into Big West in late April."
UP NEXT
The Matadors will next travel to Maricopa, Ariz. for the Wyoming Cowboy Classic at Ak-Shin Southern Dunes GC. The tournament, slated for Mar. 31-Apr. 1, will be CSUN's second-to-last event before the 2025 Big West Men's Golf Championship.
