CSUN Finishes 16th in Final Big West Championship Tuneup

EL MACERO, Calif. -Â The CSUN Men's Golf team finished 16th in its final tune-up before the 2025 Big West Men's Golf Championship in La Quinta in two weeks. The Matadors closed with a final round 312 to finish 54 holes at 46-over 910. Junior Domenic De Luca finished as CSUN's low scorer, tying for 40th at 9-over 225.

- De Luca had a pair of birdies, four bogeys, and one double bogey to finish the day at 4-over 76. After beginning the day tied for 44th, De Luca moved into a tie for 40th at 9-over 225 following rounds of 77-72-76.
- Freshman Tavin Boman and sophomore Liam Judkins tied for 56th at 12-over 228. Boman had one birdie, five bogeys, and one double bogey in a 6-over 78 on Sunday, while Judkins slipped from 26th place after a final round 10-over 82.
- Freshman Bryson Barnes had two birdies, three bogeys, and one quadruple bogey in a final round 5-over 77 to finish tied for 71st at 16-over 232.
- Nick Fry rounded out the CSUN lineup, tying for 86th at 22-over 238 following rounds of 77-80-81.
- Sophomore Dillon Jonke competed as an individual and finished 92nd at 44-over 260 following rounds of 99-82-79.
