FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The CSUN women's golf team carded an opening round 5-over 293 and is in 11th place after Monday's second round was suspended due to darkness at Ptarmigan Golf & Country Club.
With four holes remaining in the second round, the Matadors are currently 6-over in round two. Â

Senior Kim Turgut opened the day with a 3-under 69 and was tied for ninth after the opening round. She had five birdies in round one, all coming over her final 12 holes of the round.
CSUNÂ SCORES
- Following Turgut, fellow senior Gracie Piar is tied for 32nd at 1-over 73. Pair had birdies on two of her opening three holes before finishing 2-over the rest of the round.
- Ariya Soldwisch is tied for 57th at 3-over 75 after posting 16 pars, one bogey and one double bogey in round one.
- Nicole Tanoue is tied for 64th at 4-over 76 and Lily McGowan, making her CSUN debut, is tied for 68th at 6-over 78.
