HEAD COACH AQUILES MONTOYA SAID
"Tough night. We played good ball, it was just the untimely missed serves and missed assignments. I think our system worked against some things we wanted to expose on Cal Poly, but they're used to winning and stayed calm no matter the climate of the match. Excited to challenge this group that I believe in against another Big West great at UCSB tomorrow night."
UP NEXT
CSUN continues Big West opening-week on Saturday, traveling to UC Santa Barbara for a 7 p.m. first serve.
