2017 Season (Junior)
Orona played in 50 games, making 20 starts during the season ... Hit .225 with 13 runs scored, eight walks, seven RBI, six doubles and six sacrifice hits ... Orona posted career highs in several categories as a sophomore including games played (53), games started (48), batting (.255), runs (21), hits (41), doubles (10), RBI (16), slugging (.348), walks (20) and fielding percentage (.976) ... Also stole eight bases ... Hit .284 with eight RBI in conference play ... Drove in three runs and recorded a double against UCLA (3/8/16) ... Collected five hits in two wins over William & Mary, scoring three runs (3/10/16, 3/12/16) ... Went 2-for-4 with two RBI vs. UConn (3/13/16) ... 2015 Season (Freshman)
Orona played in 49 games and made 29 starts in his freshman season ... Hit .239, scored 19 runs and earned 17 walks ... Tied for the team lead with 11 stolen bases ... Drove in six RBI and registered 26 hits ... Went 2-for-2 with a run scored and two RBI against Dartmouth (3/21/15) ... Stole three bases at Hawai'i (4/24/15).
SAN DIMAS HIGH SCHOOL
Orona played four seasons for the Saints between third base and center field ... He was a starter and captain for his final two years at San Dimas High School and was named to the All-Valle Vista League and All-San Gabriel Valley Teams while also earning a psot on the All-CIF Division IV Second Team ... He earned the same accolades after his junior campaign.
