2017 Season (Redshirt Senior)
Colantono appeared in 36 games and made 18 starts on the season ... Hit a career-best .294 with 17 walks, nine runs scored, six RBI and four doubles ... Posted a .437 on-base percentage and .353 slugging percentage ... Finished with a .991 fielding percentage ... Hit .351 with six runs scored and five RBI in conference play ... Colantono appeared in eight games before suffering an injury that sidelined him for the rest of the year ... Used a medical redshirt for the season ... Hit .143 in 14 at bats and recorded a double, two walks, three stolen bases and two runs scored ... Reached base three times and went 2-for-4 in a win at CSU Bakersfield (2/21/16).
2015 Season (Junior)
Colantono appeared in 53 games, making 52 starts ... Started primarily at third base, including spending a portion of his time at second base ... Hit .280 with 19 RBI and a .328 on-percentage ... Finished fourth in batting average and fifth in hits ... Led the team in batting (.346), hits (27) and on-base percentage in conference games ... Earned 17 hits in 23 conference games ... Named All-Conference Honorable Mention ... Set new career highs in runs, hits, RBI, doubles, stolen bases, batting average and on-base percentage ... Had 13 multi-hit games ... Colantono emerged as the team's first baseman in his second year at CSUN ... He hit an even .200 in 54 games and had a .229 average against Big West Conference opponents ... Colantono tied for the team lead with 11 RBIs in the conference season and finished the year with 17 overall ... Smacked his first career home run in a win over UC Davis (5/2) ... Put together eight multi-hit games as a sophomore and drove in a career high four runs against eventual conference champion Cal Poly (5/16) ... Led the Matadors with 24 walks drawn, which was also among the most in the Big West.
2013 Season (Freshman)
Colantono appeared in 40 games and made 14 starts in his first season with CSUN ... Had 10 hits on the season, including a pair of doubles, and drove in seven runs ... Drew seven walks and contributed six sacrifice bunts, good for a tie for third on the team in 2013 ... Had multiple hits on two occasions and drove in a career-high two runs in CSUN's win at CSU Bakersfield on April 10th.
San Pasqual High School
Colantono was a two-sport athlete for the Golden Eagles, playing both baseball and football ... After his freshman season, Colantono stuck to baseball and earned his spot as the starting shortstop by his senior year ... He took home numerous Avocado East League honors, includng an Honorable Mention as a freshman, a spot on the Second Team as a sophomore and junior and was a First Team selection as a senior ... In 2012, he was also named to the All-North County Second Team ... Helped his team to a league championship as a junior while hitting .350 ... Compiled a .398 average as a senior and graduated with a 3.3 GPA.
