2021 Season (Redshirt Sophomore)
Hassel began the season as a reliever before moving into the starting rotation ... Appeared in 11 games and made five starts ... Posted a 2-0 record with a 4.13 ERA and 21 strikeouts over 32.2 innings ... Registered a 2.92 ERA over 12.1 innings in relief ... Pitched a season-high four innings as a reliever where he struck out five at UC Santa Barbara (4/10/21) ... Worked three shutout innings of relief vs. UC Riverside (4/17/21) ... Made his starting debut vs. Cal State Fullerton and earned his first career win by tossing five innings and allowing a run (4/24/21) ... Tossed a season-high six innings, surrendering a run to earn a win at CSU Bakersfield (5/1/21) ... Wrapped up the season with four shutout innings at UC San Diego (5/28/21).
