2009 (R-SOPHOMORE): Started 4-of-6 appearances in goal…went 3-1 with two shutouts…made 18 saves and recorded a 0.68 goals against average…played 394:26 between the pipes.
2008 (R-FRESHMAN): Appeared in two matches…took one shot, on-goal against Cal Poly (Oct. 25).
2007 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Crespi High School…played both soccer and football for the Celts…started all four years for the soccer squad and was captain as a senior…garnered All-Mission League honors for his final three year and was tabbed All-American as a senior…helped lead his squad to a league championship in 2006…graduated with a 3.00 GPA.
PERSONAL: Son of Frank and Terry Ibarra… majoring in communications and Spanish…as a younger brother, Justin, and older sister, Nicole…is a big fan of the Los Angeles Lakers…favorites include Mexican and Ecuadorian food, the movie “Titanic”, Michael Jackson, and Facebook.com…best friend on another team is Luke Van Patten of UCIrvine soccer…chose CSUN for its exceptional soccer program…lists greatest sports moment as winning back-to-back high school football championships...favorite pregame ritual is listening to Michael Jackson…would like to see soccer get more publicity…lists the most famous person he’s ever met as Barry Bonds…if he had a million dollars, he would “spend it in a day”…his nickname is “T-Rex”… red Gatorade always makes him smile...best advice he’s ever received is “stay humble.”
