2018 (SENIOR): Named Big West Goalkeeper of the Year and first team All-Conference for the second year in a row…became just the fifth individual in Big West history to earn a second career goalkeeper award, and is the second Matador to do so (Kevin Guppy, 2005 & 2008)…went 9-7-1 with five shutouts...posted 60 saves, a 1.16 goals against average, and a .750 save percentage…was fourth in the Big West in wins, goals against average, goals allowed (20), and fifth in saves…named Big West Conference Defensive Player of the Week three times, becoming only the fourth player in Big West history to claim at least six weekly awards over the course of a career...named Academic All-Conference.
2017 (JUNIOR): Named Big West Goalkeeper of the Year, marking the second year in a row and fifth time overall that a CSUN goalie earned the honor…also named first team All-Conference…led the Big West in goals against average, was second in the conference in saves, second in save percentage, and third in goals against…was chosen Big West Defensive Player of the Week on three occasions…finished the regular season second in Division I in minutes played (1934:57), 45th in total saves, 88th in goals against average, 103rd in save percentage, and 119th in saves per game.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Appeared in seven matches for UMKC from 2015-16…Posted 46 total saves in over 560 minutes…Played in two matches as a sophomore a year ago and tallied 12 saves and an .857 save percentage…Amassed 34 saves, two shutouts, two wins and a .791 save percentage in over 444 minutes of action as a freshman.Â
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2015 graduate of Earl Mariott Secondary School…Led team to a 10-2-4 record during as a senior while posting a 0.65 GAA and 56 saves with five shutouts…Earned team MVP honors as a junior and as a senior…Played for the school's basketball team as a shooting guard and on the volleyball team as a middle…Named MVP in both basketball and volleyball...CLUB EXPERIENCE: Played for Fusion FC in 2014-15 and also was a member of the Fraser Valley FC in 2013-14 and Coastal FC from 2010-13…Went to England on trials in the Fall of 2014 with Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town clubs.
PERSONAL: Son of Jay Regitnig and Rose-Marie Fagerholm…an mechanical engineering major...has two siblings, Max and Sophia…Max played ultimate frisbee at University of Victoria.
