INDOOR: Opened indoor season with a season-best toss of 36-0 3/4 in the weight throw at the Spokane Indoor Challenge ... posted a season-best in the shot of 46-0 at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic ... finished ninth in the weight throw (31-10 3/4) and 10th in the shot (45-9 1/4) at the MPSF Championships ... both MPSF finishes were season-highs.

Son of Francisco and Liz Isiordia … favorites include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Los Angeles Rams…Aaron Donald, Elizabeth Olsen, Stranger Things, Cars, Lemon Pepper Wings, Migos, Travis Scott, and YouTube.com … chose CSUN because it was close to home, being given the opportunity to throw shot put and further his education … he also has family members who attended CSUN in the past and who are currently at CSUN … says greatest sports moment so far is hitting his PR in the shot put during the CIF Division 3 finals and with that mark, he was able to qualify for the CIF Masters Meet as a senior … says the best thing about being an athlete is the teammates you meet, who end up becoming like another family…says the toughest thing about being an athlete is time management … says the best athlete he has competed against is Ashton Sanders who is committed to Oklahoma for football … says the most famous people he has met are Zack and Cody from the Suite Life of Zack and Cody … the person in history he would like to meet is Kobe Bryant … would like to switch places for one day with LeBron James … the two people he would like to have dinner with are Aaron Donald and Ryan Crouser … the best advice he has been given is to never be afraid of trying new things as it could lead to new possibilities that could be life changing … his advice to young people is to never give up and attack anything with your all no matter what it is … his greatest hero is also my biggest role model, who is my sister … she is three years older than me and has had a very successful life which I am trying to replicate … she is always there for me no matter what is going on in life and is some who I look up to a lot.
