OUTDOOR: Buck competed in seven outdoor meets ... placed 16th in the long jump with a leap of 6.91m (22-8) at the Big West Championship (5/15/26) ... recorded a PR in the 100m of 10.83 to take fifth place at the UCSB Invite (4/25/26) ... registered a PR in the long jump of 7.28m (23-10.75), placing second at the Trojan Invitational (3/28/26).Â
INDOOR: Competed in all three indoor meets ... finished 10th overall in the long jump with a leap of 6.90m (22-7.75) at the MPSF Championships (3/1/26) ... placed 11th in the 60m, running at 7.06 at the MPSF Championships ... recorded a PR in the 60m of 7.03 to place 27th at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational (2/14/26) ... posted a season-best in the long jump with a leap of 7.00m (22-11.75) to take 24th place at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational (2/13/26) ... earned MPSF All-Academic Team honors.Â

OUTDOOR: Buck competed in two outdoor meets ... recorded a season-best long jump mark of 6.71m (22-0.25) at the Vince O'Boyle Classic (3/28/25) ... helped CSUN to a fourth-place finish in the 4x400m with a time of 3:19.10 at the Vince O'Boyle Classic (3/29/25) .. ran a 400m time of 49.68 to finish 21st at the UNLV Rebel ELITE (4/5/25).Â
INDOOR: Competed in three indoor meets ... placed 13th in the long jump with a leap of 6.41m (21-0.5) at the MPSF Indoor Championships (2/21/25) ... posted a PR long jump leap of 6.88m (22-7) to finish eighth at the Wolf Pack Classic (2/7/25) ... set a PR in the 200m of 22.49, finishing 23rd at the Wolf Pack Classic (2/8/25)Â ... would also help CSUN to a third-place finish in the distance medley relay with a time of 10:13.56 at the Wolf Pack Classic.Â
PRIOR TO CSUN
Buck attended College of the Canyons from 2021-23 and competed on the track & field team for coach Lindie Kane, Jasmine Hall and Denean Hill ... collected third place All-American in the long jump in the CCCAA state championships along with eighth place in the triple jump in 2023 ... won the long jump while he took second in the 4x400m relay and third in the 400m, and triple jump at the Western State Championships ... collected all-conference honors in 2022 in the long jump, triple jump and 400m ... attended Burbank High School and graduated in 2021 ... competed on his high school's track & field team all four years in sprints and jumps for coach Junior Cadet ... finished first in the triple jump, long jump and 1600m relay at the 2021 Pacific League Track & Field Championships ... his career bests include 23-4 in the long jump, 45-11 in the triple jump, 48.0 in the 400m, 21.6 in the 200m and 10.86 in the 100m.

Parents are Lucas Buck and Angela Barlow ... stepfather is Nick Barlow ... he has two siblings: Maddie and Colin ... his aunt Joy also attended CSUN ... favorites include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Usain Bolt, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, the tv show "Suits," the film "Alien," Coldplay, The Weeknd and mexican food ... chose CSUN because he heard it was an amazing school to further his education and to compete at the Division I level in track & field ... lists the 2023 CCCAA State Championships as his favorite sports moment when he finished in third place in the long jump and earned an All-American award ... says his mom is his greatest hero.
