2016 (SENIOR)
OUTDOOR: Did not compete.
INDOOR: Competed in one event, the season opening New Mexico Cherry & Silver...ran :7.42 in the 60m...posted a toss of 37-6 1/2 in the shot put...was a part of the 4x400m relay that posted a time of 3:29.16 (14th)...named Academic All-MPSF.
2015 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: A part of 4x400m relay team that finished fourth at Big West Championship in a time of 3:12.95...ran :56.23 in the preliminaries of 400m hurdles at Big West Championship...ran the 400m hurdles a total of seven times with a career best :54.83 occurring during the Mar. 14 CSUN Invitational...named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2014 (SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Ran once, the 110m hurdles, at the Fresno State Bulldog Invitational on Apr. 26...posted a wind-aided time of :17.45 to place ninth.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2013 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Did not compete.
INDOOR: Competed once, throwing the shot put at the NYU Team Challenge...finished 20th with a toss of 32-9 3/4.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2012 graduate of Saint Francis High School in La Canada, Calif...lettered for the Golden Knights track team and was also a team captain...a three-time MVP (2009-12) as a hurdler/decathlete...earned first team All-Mission honors in 2011 and second team accolades in 2012...his top time in the 110 hurdles was :14.52...graduated with a 3.4 grade point average and earned honor roll honors.
PERSONAL: Son of Sara and James Knowles Sr....has one brother, Eric...favorites include actor Jim Carrey, the TV show "The Office", the movie "21 Jump Street" and orange chicken and steamed rice...says the toughest thing about being a collegiate athlete is "time management"...says if he could have dinner with two people are President Obama and his dad.
