Staker was the lone Northridge player to appear in all 29 matches and was second on the team with 93 games played ... finished third in the squad with 174 kills and was fifth averaging 1.87 kills per game ... led the Matadors with a .405 hitting percentage which ranked eighth in the MPSF ... committed just 44 hitting errors in321 swings ... was second on the team with 66 total blocks (0.71bpg) which included five solo blocks ... also added 29 digs, six aces and two assists during the season ... pounded a career-high 15kills in 17 attacks (.824) to go with three blocks in the Matadors'3-1 win over UC San Diego (Jan. 7) ... also reached 10 kills on five other occasions ... had 10 kills in 11 error-less swings(.909) to post the third-best hitting night in team history ... hit at least .600 six other times in his sophomore season ... posted a career-high seven blocks (one solo) in Northridge's 3-1 win at No.12 UC San Diego (Feb. 19).
2010
Appeared in 24 matches playing in 47 sets as a true freshman ...recorded nine kills in 21 swings to hit .286, which was sixth-best on the squad ... also contributed 17 blocks (0.36 bpg) and two aces... knocked down a season-high four kills in six attacks (.500) in the Matadors' 3-2 win at No. 2 Stanford (Jan. 29) ... also had a season-high six total blocks in the win over the Cardinal ...notched two kills, three blocks and one ace against No. 10Pepperdine (Feb. 5) ... also posted an ace to go with two kills and two blocks against Pacific (Apr. 3).
