Jared Moore appeared in all but one of the Matadors' 30 matches while playing in a team-high 103 sets as a junior middle blocker... shattered his previous season-bests in every statistical category ... finished the season with 147 kills (1.43 kpg) which was fifth-best on the team ... hit a team-high .368 in 285 attacks after taking just 55 swings over his first two seasons ... finished second to fellow middle Drew Staker with 104 total blocks including10 solo blocks ... was also effective from the service line finishing fourth on the squad with 14 aces ... also posted a career-high 36 digs ... knocked down a career-high 13 kills in 14attacks to hit a career-high .929 vs. No. 4 Stanford ... his hitting percentage matches Kevin McKniff's school record ... also reached double figures with 10 kills (.444) in CSUN's five-set win over No. 15 Pacific (Feb. 10) ... blocked a career-high 10 Pepperdine attacks as the Matadors defeated the sixth-ranked Waves in four (Apr. 12) ... also served a career-high three aces against No. 11 UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 29).
2011
Moore appeared in 38 games over 20 matches as a sophomore ...finished the season with 18 kills (0.55 kpg) while also adding 10 blocks (0.26 bpg) and six digs (0.16 dpg) ... knocked down a season-high five kills against Pacific (Jan. 29 and Mar. 26) ...took a season-high 12 swings at No. 3 UCLA (Jan. 19) ... recorded a career-high four blocks at No. 15 Pacific (Mar. 26) where he also served his first collegiate ace.
2010
Appeared in one match and one set as a redshirt freshman in 2010... came off the bench to knock down his first two collegiate kills in three swings (.667) in the Matadors' 3-0 sweep over Pacific (Apr. 3) ... also recorded one block assist in the win ... averaged 2.00 kills per game and 1.0 block for the season.
2009
Redshirted as a true freshman for the Matadors in 2009.
SANTIAGO HIGH SCHOOL
Earned two letters in volleyball at Santiago High School in Corona, Calif. ... was elected team captain as a senior in 2008 ...earned All-CIF, All-Mountain View League as well as MVP honors as a middle and opposite hitter in 2007 and 2008 ... his team finished with a two-year record of 40-2 ... the Sharks won Mountain View League championships in 2007 and 2008 ... graduated in 2008.
