CSUNÂ - 2024 (Junior)
Lorenzo Bertozzi appeared in all 29 matches and 96 of CSUN's 111 sets during his junior season ... finished the season with 49 kills while hitting .356 on 90 attacks ... also recorded 11 aces (0.11 saps) and 19 digs (0.20 dps) over 96 sets ... posted a career-high 14 kills on .462 hitting in his lone start of the season against Hope International (Feb. 14) ... served at least one ace in 10 of the 29 matches in which he appeared, including a season-high two aces against Princeton (Jan. 19) ... had nine kills on .429 hitting in CSUN's 3-0 win over Cal Lutheran (Jan. 16) ... was one of five Matadors named to the 2024 Big West All-Academic Team.
CSUNÂ - 2023 (Sophomore)
Bertozzi appeared in 26 matches and 78 sets during his sophomore season ... started 18 matches at outside hitter ... finished fourth on the team with a season-best 135 kills while averaging 1.73 kills per set which ranked third among CSUN hitters ... finished the season hitting .223 on 332 total attacks ... also posted season-highs of 84 digs (1.08 dps) and 17 blocks (0.22 bps) to go with eight aces ... notched his first collegiate double-double with career-highs of 12 kills and 11 digs in CSUN's 3-2 win over No. 6 Stanford (Feb. 3) ... also finished with 12 kills against Daemen (Mar. 18) ... connected for 10 kills, hitting a career-high .667 on 15 errorless swings in the Matadors' 3-0 win at No. 10 Stanford (Mar. 3) ... also reached double figures in kills against NJIT, UC Irvine, and Long Beach State ... served a career-best three aces against Westcliff (Feb. 22) and recorded 3.0 blocks against both UC San Diego (Feb. 24) and UC Irvine (Mar. 31) ... was one of four Matadors named to the 2023 Big West All-Academic Team.
CSUNÂ - 2022 (Freshman)
Bertozzi appeared in 13 matches and 32 sets in his first season at CSUN ... made seven starts at outside hitter ... finished the season with 44 kills while averaging 1.38 kills per set ... hit .144 on 111 attacks ... also had 37 digs (1.16 dps) nine aces (0.19 saps) and four blocks ... notched his first collegiate kill while hitting a season-high .400 in CSUN's 3-0 win over Cal Lutheran (Jan. 28) ... put down a season-high seven kills at No. 4 Hawai'i (Mar. 26) ... also had seven kills while taking a season-high 15 swings against No. 6 UC Santa Barbara in the first round of the Outrigger Big West Championship (Apr. 21) ... had a season-high seven digs on two occasions; at No. 9 UC San Diego (Mar. 31) and at No. 3 Long Beach State (Apr. 15) ... also served a season-high two aces against the Beach (Apr. 15).
