CSUN - 2020 (Redshirt Junior)
Philip Barker appeared in four matches and eight sets as a redshirt junior in 2020 ... had one kill on three swings to hit .333 on the season ...  hit a career-high .500 with one kill on two attacks in CSUN's 3-0 win over Cal Lutheran (Jan. 25) ... also took one swing against Menlo (Jan. 24) ... also picked up one block assist in the win over CLU.
CSUN - 2019 (Redshirt Sophomore)
Barker appeared in 11 matches and 25 sets as a redshirt sophomore in 2019 ... posted eight kills on 19 swings for the season to hit .158 ... also recorded 11 blocks and three aces for the season ... connected for his first collegiate kill in CSUN's 3-2 win over Harvard at the UCSB Asics Invitational (Jan. 4) ... also had his first block and ace in the Matadors' 3-2 win over the Crimson ... hit a season-high .429 (4-1-7) with a season-high four kills and a season-high four blocks in CSUN's 3-0 win at Cal Lutheran (Feb. 15).

Barker was a four-year starter at middle blocker at El Toro High School in Lake Forest, Calif. ... earned first team All-Sea View League honors as well as Offensive MVP as a senior in 2016 ... was a second team all-league selection as a junior ... led the Chargers in kills and blocks in 2016 for coach Cory Thissel ... earned a Gold Medal playing for Orange Coast Volleyball Club at the Junior Olympics in 2016 and won Bronze in 2014 ... graduated in 2016.
