Pond appeared in seven matches and 18 sets as a redshirt freshman in 2020 ... started five matches at middle blocker ... posted 22 kills while hitting .531 on 32 attacks ... also added 10 blocks while averaging 0.56 blocks per set ... contributed three digs and two service aces ... connected for a season-high six kills on a season-high 10 swings in CSUN's 3-0 win over UC Merced (Feb. 14) ... recorded his first collegiate kill against No. 10 Purdue-Fort Wayne (Jan. 15) and notched his first collegiate block against Menlo (Jan. 24) ... wound up with a season-high three blocks against Menlo ... hit a perfect 1.000 with five kills on five swings against No. 13 Princeton (Feb. 1).Â
