2021 (FRESHMAN): Started eight of her team leading 19 appearances...went 4-11 with a save...led team in strikeouts (43) and was second in innings pitched (70.2)...tied with Kenedee Jamerson for team lead with five complete games...won both games of the Apr. 28 doubleheader against the University of San Diego...tossed a complete-game three hitter in the Matadors’ 4-3 victory Mar. 27 against Hawai’i...hrew a complete-game five-hitter in taking the 3-1 loss to UC Davis Apr. 17, striking out a season and team-high seven strikeouts against the Aggies...tied her season-high with seven strikeouts in 4.2 innings of relief to pick up the win Apr. 25 at UC Riverside.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2020 graduate of Camarillo High School…coach was Nichole Pinedo…was named first-team All-League, first-team All-County, and Coastal Canyon League Pitcher of the Year in 2018...selected first-team All-League and first-team All-County in 2017…her team won the 2017 CIF/State Division 2 Softball title…her Camarillo teams won league championships in both 2017 and 2018…graduated with a 3.5 grade point average...played for the Firecrackers TJ club program.

PERSONAL: Daughter of John and Jeannette Gonzales…a Psychology major...favorites include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Cody Bellinger, Mathew Gray Gubler, Viola Davis, Criminal Minds, Lady Bird, anything her grandma makes, Fleetwood Mac, Cody Cudi...chose CSUN because of the atmosphere and knew choosing CSUN was the place to compete and help grow as an athlete...greatest sports moment so far is winning the CIF/State Division 2 championship as a freshman in 2017…the most famous person she has met is Jessica Mendoza…the person in history she would like to meet is Albert Einstein…the two people she would like to have dinner with are Amy Winehouse and Mathew Gray Gubler…her hero is her grandmother because she’s strong, independent, and hardworking, and looks up to her.
