2022 (SENIOR): Played in 32 games, starting 25 times...led team and was tied with 10 others for eighth in the Big West in triples (2)...was third on the team in putouts with 145 and led the team in fielding percentage (.993)...hit .250 with eight RBI...scored five runs....posted three doubles...posted a .347 slugging and a .333 on-base percentage...walked seven times...earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors...named Academic All-Conference.
2021 (JUNIOR): Started 22-of-23 appearances, playing both second base and in the outfield...tied for fifth on the team in RBI (5) with Aaliyah Swan...recorded three runs scored and one double...set career-high with two hits against UC San Diego May 7...ended year with 10 hits in 64 at-bats...named Academic All-Conference.
2020 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in seven games both in the field and as a pitcher...started four times...recorded two hits in 12 at-bats...tied with Aaliyah Swan for the team lead in sacrifice hits with three, the fifth most in the Big West...pitched 4.1 innings during two pitching appearances...combined with Jillian James on a 10-0 shutout of Mount Saint Mary's on Feb. 29...struck out three batters...named Academic All-Conference.
2019 (FRESHMAN): Did not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of San Dimas High School…coach was Don Pollard...chosen second team CalHiSports Medium Schools All-State as a senior after hitting .477 with 10 home runs and 31 RBI…scored 31 runs and posted eight doubles in 2018…in the circle, she posted a 1.32 ERA during her senior campaign and broke the school strikeouts record…also earned All-CIF, Valle Vista League MVP, and team MVP honors as a senior…chosen second team All-League three times…team won league titles in 2016 and 2018..
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jose Garcia and the late Liliana Casillas…sister, Alexis, is a member of the CSUN softball program...a child and adolescent development (early childhood development) major…favorites include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Kobe Bryant, Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Friends, Supernatural, The Heat, Wings, Old Dominion, and Luke Bryon…chose CSUN for the coaching staff and its campus…the best advice she has been give is “let it go, let it leave, nothing in this world was promised or belonged to you anyway”…the title of her autobiography would be one breath at a time.”
