2021: Opted out of the 2021 season due to COVID-19 concerns.
2020 (JUNIOR): Recorded 33 hits, the fourth most in the Big West and the 34th most in Division I...posted 90 at-bats, the fourth most in the conference...was ninth in the Big West in batting (.367), ninth in doubles (5), and ninth in triples (1)...scored 18 runs, the seventh most in the Big West...had a 16-game hitting streak halted at San Diego Mar. 8...Cauley’s 16-game hitting streak is the fourth longest since CSUN moved to the Division I level in 1991 (Amanda Peek had a 19-game in 2006, Taylor Glover had 2 17-game hitting streaks, 2014, 2016)...started all 24 games, and now has started all 128 games in which she has played for CSUN in her career...named Academic All-Conference.
2019 (SOPHOMORE): After missing first eight games due to injury, started final 46 games in a row…was second on the team in hitting with a .283 batting average…scored 22 runs, tying Halieigh Gonzalez for the fourth most on the team…her eight doubles were the fourth most on the squad…stole five bases in seven attempts, tying her with Jessica Alexander for the second most on the Matadors…charted 11 walks, tying Alexander for the third most on the team...posted three hits in a game on two occasions (vs. Saint Mary's and Hawai'i)...selected Academic All-Conference.
2018 (FRESHMAN): Started all 58 appearances in which she appeared, playing all but 2.2 innings in those games…hit. 269 with one home run and 15 RBI…tied for second on team in doubles with Journey Rojas (10)…posted a .345 slugging percentage and a .330 on-base percentage…scored 20 runs…second on the squad in at-bats (171)…stole five bases in five attempts…was fourth on the team in putouts with 75...posted three-hit games against LIU and again against Texas Tech...earned NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of La Habra High School…coach was Frank McCarroll…selected third team All-State, first team All-League, first team All-Area, and third team All-County as a senior…named MVP of the 2017 Orange County North vs. South game…hit .364 with 21 stolen bases, and 15 RBI’s as a senior…chosen second team All-State, second team All-County, first team All-OC Sidelines, first team All-Area, and first team All-League as a junior…participated in golf and volleyball for La Habra High…graduated with a 3.3 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Kenneth and Krisha Cauley…a communication studies major…has two sisters; Kennadi and Kaitlin and one brother Kamden…favorites include Leonardo Di Caprio, Law & Order SVU; Tangled, and cheeseburgers…chose CSUN because it felt like home…Her advice to young people is “never give up”…her greatest hero is her mom because she always been there for her and pushed her to never give up.
