2022 (GRADUATE): Started all 54 games, playing all but 26 innings of the season at catcher...led team and was 14th in the Big West in RBI with 28...recorded eight games of two or more RBI with a season best four coming against UC Santa Barbara in the season finale on May 14 when she hit a grand slam home run...was the team leader and ninth in the conference in walks (20)...was second on the squad and tied for 13th (with four others) in the Big West in home runs with five...second on the club in at-bats (154) and recorded 35 hits (.224 batting average).
PRIOR TO CSUN: Will be a graduate transfer after earning her undergraduate degree from UC Riverside...led the Highlanders in RBI (16), doubles (11), and total bases (43) in 2021…paced the team with eight multi-hit games and posted a team-high 13-game on-base streak…hit .257 with one home run in 2021…hit .254 with a .603 slugging percentage as she started all 22 of UCR’s games during the 2020 COVID-19 shortened season…began her collegiate career at NM State where she played 36 games over two seasons and drove in seven runs…played in the Women's European Cup (XXVII) for Israel.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of West Ranch High School, Sorensen led West Ranch to three consecutive CIF-Southern Section playoff appearances including a runner-up finish during the 2014 season. West Ranch won a pair of Foothill League championships and was named second-team All-League and third-team All-Valley as a senior.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Craig and Michelle Sorensen…received her bachelor’s in Media and Culture Studies and graduate with a 3.5 grade point average from UC Riverside…is enrolled in the Real Estate Certificate program at CSUN...twin sister Lexi attended CSUN while twin sister Kalei plays softball for St. John’s University (N.Y.)…favorites include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Cody Bellinger, Jonah Hill, Jennifer Aniston…Grey’s Anatomy, The Twilight Movie series…strawberries, Rascal Flatts, Chelsea Cutler, and Netflix…chose CSUN to play her final year of collegiate softball close to home…her greatest athletic moment so far his hitting home run in her first at-bat at UC Riverside…says the best thing about being an athlete is the experience and being able to meet people from all around the country/world…says the toughest thing about being an athlete is being your own motivation…says the best athlete she has played against is Rachel Garcia…the most famous people she has met is the Jonas Brothers…the person in history she would like to meet is Robin Williams…would like to switch places for one day with Guy Fieri…if she could have dinner with two people, they would be Post Malone and Brittney Spears…the best advice she has received is that in the end we all only have ourselves…says her greatest hero is her mom who endlessly supports her family and encourages her to be the best version of herself and provides unconditional love no matter what.
