Stephanie Serna played in all 11 matches for the Matadors in her second season of beach volleyball ... played the entire season with Cieana Stinson and finished with an overall record of 0-11 ... played seven matches at No. 4, three matches at No. 5 and one extra match ... went three sets on three different occasions; falling to TCU (21-13, 21-23, 15-12), Nebraska (20-22, 21-11, 1-12) and Arizona (25-27, 21-16, 15-12).
CSUN - 2014 (Freshman)
Serna appeared in all nine matches in CSUN's first-ever season of beach volleyball ... played primarily with Alia Casino and posted an 0-8 record ... also was paired with Kelcie Randazzo against No. 2 USC and lost in straight sets on Mar. 8.
CAPISTRANO VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL
Serna lettered all four seasons at Capistrano Valley High School in Mission Viejo, Calif. ... was named second team All-South Coast League as well as Best Offensive Player in 2011 ... started at middle blocker, outside hitter and opposite during her Cougar career ... played for coach Darren Utterback ... graduated in 2013 with a 3.7 grade point average.
