CSUN - 2020 (Senior)
Aeryn Owens played in all five matches for the Matadors during her senior season ... paired with Lexi McLeod for all five matches as CSUN's No. 1 team and finished the season with a perfect 5-0 record ... finished 2-0 in dual matches and 3-0 in tournament matches ... the duo's winning percentage (1.000) is the best in program history ... the pair dropped just two sets in five matches ... swept The Master's and Cal State LA (Feb. 29) and Santa Clara (Mar. 7) and defeated San Francisco and Saint Mary's (Mar. 7) in three sets ... had one of the Matadors' two wins in the 3-2 loss to Saint Mary's ... now has 42 individual wins, the most in program history ... ranks fourth in CSUN beach volleyball history with a career winning percentage of .600 (42-28).
CSUN - 2018 (Junior)
Owens played in all 26 of CSUN's matches in her third season ... posted a team-leading 18-8 overall match record playing with Katie Sato at No. 1 ... also had the Matadors' top winning percentage of .692 ... the pair earned second team All-Big West honors ... finished the season 12-3 in dual matches and 6-5 in tournament matches ... had a season-best seven-match winning streak (Mar. 8-14) and a pair of four-match winning streaks during the season ... the pair had one of CSUN's two wins in a 3-2 loss to CSU Bakersfield in the opening round of the Big West Tournament (Apr. 27).
CSUN - 2017 (Sophomore)
Owens played in all 18 of CSUN's matches during her sophomore season ... teamed with Erin Indermill for 15 matches and led the Matadors with a 9-6 record ... the pair posted a team-leading winning percentage of .600 ... played 12 matches in the No. 3 spot, finishing with a 7-5 record while playing three times at No. 4 (2-1) ... won five of their first seven matches with the only losses coming to No. 2 Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount ... won four of their last six matches before coming up short in three sets (21-13, 17-21, 15-13) to Cal Poly at the Big West Tournament ... also played twice with Autumn Russell posting a 1-1 record at No. 3 and played with Maddie Leiphardt at No. 1 in the season opener against Concordia-Irvine.
CSUN - 2016 (Freshman)
Owens played in 21 of CSUN's 22 matches in her first season ... played primarily with Erin Indermill where the duo posted a record of 8-9 and had CSUN's top winning percentage (.471) ... finished 0-1 at No. 2, 4-4 at No. 3, 0-4 at No. 4, 2-0 at No. 5 and 1-1 in extra matches ... also played four matches with Kristey Markle where the pair was 1-3 playing all four matches at No. 3 ... Owens and Indermill won five of their final matches playing at No. 3 which included a pair of wins at the Big West Championship over Sacramento State and CSU Bakersfield.

Owens lettered her final three seasons at Alta Loma High School in Alta Loma, Calif. ... was named first team All-Inland Valley for the 36-3 Braves as a senior in 2014 ... also earned All-CIF Division 4AA Player of the Year honors after putting down 528 kills (4.6 kps) ... the Braves won the Mt. Baldy League championship in 2014 ... was also first team named All-Baseline League as a junior in 2013 ... played outside hitter for coach Tishanna Pope ... graduated in 2015 with a 3.0 grade point average.

Born in San Bernadino, Calif. ... parents are Liana Turner and Aaron Owens ... her father played basketball at Henderson State ... was also recruited by UC Irvine, UC Riverside, Connecticut and Concordia ... also played for Pacific Juniors Volleyball Club ... favorites include actress Jennifer Lawrence, the movie "The Hunger Games" and sushi ... says she chose CSUN because of the "coaches, area and major" ...says the best thing about being an athlete is "getting to play with my best friends and competing" ... says she couldn't imagine going a week without "my iPhone" ... majoring in Communication Studies.
