Ashley Phelps competed in all five tournaments and 17 rounds during her junior season ... posted a career-best 79.6 scoring average which ranked fourth on the team ... took a total of 1,354 strokes over 17 rounds ... matched the low round of her career with a second-round 74 at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational (Oct. 28-30) ... finished with a career-best tournament total of 228 (75-78-75) to place a CSUN-low 47th at the Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational (Oct. 14-15) ... finished a season-best 29th at both the Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational and the Jackrabbit Invitational (Mar. 9-10) ... has a career scoring average of 80.9 after taking 4,044 strokes over 50 career rounds.
CSUN - 2018-19 (Sophomore)
Phelps competed in six tournaments, playing in 18 rounds as a sophomore ... took a total of 1,444 strokes over 18 rounds, compiling a scoring average of 80.2 ... best finish of the season was 37th at the Big West Championship (Apr. 15-17) where she posted a three-round total of 250 (85-76-89) ... low 54-hole total of the season was (+16) 232 at the GCU Invitational (Feb. 23-24) where she finished tied for 57th ... low round was 74 in round one of the Battle at the Rock (Feb. 11-12).
CSUN - 2017-18 (Freshman)
Phelps competed in six tournaments and 15 rounds during her freshman season ... finished the season with a scoring average of 83.1 after taking 1,246 strokes over 15 rounds ... best tournament finish of the season came at the Cal Poly Invitational (Oct. 28-29) where she finished tied for 36th at 22-over 166 ... low round of the season (77) came in the opening round of the Battle at the Rock in Riverside (Feb. 12-13) ... also shot 77 in the final round of the Sacramento State Invitational (Mar. 19-20) ... low 54-hole tournament score was 236 (+20) at the Battle of the Rock.
BURROUGHS HIGH SCHOOL
Phelps earned four letters in golf at John Burroughs High School in Burbank, Calif. ... was named first team All-Area in both 2014 and 2015 and was Player of the Year in 2016-17 ... was also a first team all-league and first team all-region selection all four years playing for coach Greg Everhart ... also played soccer for the Indians in 2013-14 ... graduated in 2017 with a 4.25 grade point average she is also a California Scholarship Federation Sealbearer.
