2018 (R-SENIOR): Second on the team in singles victories with nine (9-6)...was 10-6 in doubles action...won first three doubles matches of the year with Kiryang Kim....selected Academic All-Conference..
2017 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt at CSUN…Earned ITA Scholar-Athlete award honors.
2016 (JUNIOR): Finished the year tied with teammate Skyla Alcon for the team lead with 11 singles wins and finished 11-11 overall and 3-5 against Big West opposition…recorded notable victories over LMU, UC Riverside, UCLA, Santa Clara, Colorado State, Western Michigan, Connecticut, UC Davis and Cal State Fullerton…in doubles play, teamed with Kiryang Kim and duo finished the year with a 10-6 overall record and a 2-2 mark in Big West play…the tandem produced notable victories over LMU, UC Riverside, UCLA, Santa Clara, Colorado State, Connecticut, UC Irvine and Cal State Fullerton...named Academic All-Conference.
2015 (SOPHOMORE): Finished 4-2 in singles action and 2-1 in doubles play…posted singles victories over Westmont twice, UCSD and Towson…teamed with Corinne Schnyder to go 1-1 in doubles play with a win over Westmont…teamed with Vivian Lin to defeat Towson in doubles play.
2014 (FRESHMAN): Went 1-0 singles play in her freshman season, winning in straight sets against Wellesley College.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2013 graduate of Bravo Medical Magnet High School…played tennis and volleyball for the Knights.
PERSONAL: Born Apr. 29, 1995…daughter of Tamara Hakobyan and Grigor Taslagyan…an art major…has one brother, Aram…favorites include the LA Lakers, Kobe Bryant, "Family Guy" and "The Notebook”…her advice to young people is "take advantage of the resoures available"…lists her brother as her greatest hero.
