2022 (R-SENIOR)
OUTDOOR: Entered the long jump five times, posting a season best of 38-2 1/4 at the adidas/Steve Scott Invitational...her performance at the Steve Scott Invitational resulted in tying her season best finish, fourth...placed fourth for the first time at the CSUN Invitational (35-11 1/2)...advanced to the finals of the triple jump at the Big West Championship where she was ninth (37-0 1/4)...entered three long jump competitions...posted season best in the long jump at the adidas/Steve Scott Invitational (16-8).
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2021: Did not compete.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Began collegiate career at San José State, redshirting the 2018 season with the Spartans…transferred to Cerritos College where she spent 2019 and 2020…won the 2019 CCCAA State Championship in the triple jump (40-4 1/2) and came in sixth place in the long jump (18-0 1/4)…her triple jump mark was the second best in school history…won the Southern California and South Coast Conference championship in triple jump, while placing third in the long jump at the SoCal Championships after winning the conference title…also competed in the 100 meters (13.20) during the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Highland High School…a two-time Bakersfield Californian All-Area selection…chosen Southeast Yosemite League Field Most Valuable Player four times…earned a scholar-athlete award as a senior and freshman…voted the team’s Most Valuable Player as a junior and received the school’s Most Valuable Player award her junior and freshman seasons…named to the Bakersfield Jockey Club as a junior and Most Improved award as a freshman…specialized in the long jump (18-2) and triple jump (39-0).

PERSONAL: Daughter of Monte and Keisha Smith…a systems/operations management major...mother ran track at CSU Bakersfield…favorites include Allyson Felix, Bates Motel, tacos, Paranormal Activity…most memorable moment was qualifying for the state championships two years in a row.
