OUTDOOR: Posted a career best in the 1500m of 5:14.73 at the UC Riverside Distance Invitational Apr. 29...reset career-best in the 800m when she ran 2:36.25 at the Apr. 2 Red & Black Invite...ran the 400m for the first time, going 1:13.08 to place 11th at the Cal Poly Spring Break Challenge Mar. 24...season-best finish in the 800m was sixth at Cal Poly while her season-best in the 1500m was seventh at Triton Invitational Apr. 10...named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2020 (SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Finished 28th in the 800m at the Mar. 7 San Diego Collegiate Challenge in a time of 2:43.23.
INDOOR: Ran the 800m at four different events...recorded a season-best finish, seventh, at the NAU Tune Up Feb. 21 (2:45.45)...ran season-best time, 2:37.31, to placed 28th at the MPSF Championships Feb. 28.
PRIOR TO CSUN: A member of the cross country and track and field teams at Monterey Peninsula College during the 2016-17 campaign...helped lead the cross country team to 2016 CCCAA State Championship…ran in the 800m and 1500m for the track and field team…attended Pierce College from 2018-19 but did not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2016 graduate of Carmel High School…helped lead cross country team to four MTAL titles…swam for Carmel High swim team in the 100 back and 100 butterfly…served as team captain in both cross country and swimming.
PERSONAL: Daughter of John and Shelly Houseman…a FCS/apparel design/production major…favorites include the Denver Broncos, The 100, pasta, Illenium, and Lennon Stella…chose CSUN for its location and as many of her friends attend the school…the most famous person she has met is Billy Dee Williams…her greatest heroes are her parents because they are selfless, loving, caring, and wise.
