Steffi Miller appeared in nine matches and 15 sets as a sophomore... backed up All-American Sydney Gedryn and finished the season with 124 assists (8.27 aps), 12 kills (0.80 kps), 22 digs (1.47dps), four aces (0.27 saps) and seven blocks (0.47 bps) ... came off the bench to lead the Matadors to a 3-2 win over Idaho (Sept.6) helping CSUN to the Fiesta Bowl Tournament championship ...handed out a career-high 40 assists against the Vandals while also connecting for five kills in nine attacks (.556) ... also posted a career-high seven digs in the win ... earned her first collegiate start vs. Coppin State (Sept. 20) ... also had 21 assists, three kills and a career-high three aces against Coppin State (Sept. 19)... had 19 assists and three digs in the final two sets of a 3-0win over UC Riverside (Nov. 2).
CSUN - 2012
Miller appeared in seven matches and 10 sets during her freshman season ... posted a season total of 28 assists for an average of2.80 assists per set ... also notched four kills, seven digs and one block ... had a season-high 12 assists, two kills and three digs in CSUN's straight-set win over LaSalle (Sept. 7) ... posted one kill in her collegiate debut against Wisconsin (Aug. 31) ...had three assists and one dig in her Big West debut against Cal State Fullerton (Sept. 21).
ARAGON HIGH SCHOOL
Miller was a four-year starter at setter/hitter at Aragon High School in San Mateo, Calif. ... was named Most Valuable Player forthe Dons as a senior in 2011 ... was also named team captain during her senior season ... earned All-Peninsula Athletic League honors all four years including first team accolades in 2011 and 2012 ...played for the Vision 18 Golf club team which was ranked number onein the country most of the club season in 2012 ... earned Bronze medals in the 18 open division in 2012 and in the 14 open division in 2008 at the Junior Olympics ... graduated in 2012 with a 3.9grade point average.
