NORTHRIDGE, Calif. --- The CSUN women's basketball team (13-11, 6-4 Big West) will look to extend their current five-game winning streak with a pair of important Big West Conference games as the league tournament beckons just a few weeks away. On Thursday, Feb. 16 the Matadors host the UC Irvine Anteaters at 7 p.m. in The Matadome with Mark Roberts calling all the action on the CSUN Sports Network and BigWestTV. Two days later, CSUN voyages to the tropics to face the Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine at The Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu at 9 p.m. (PT) / 7 p.m. (HT). Two days later, CSUN persevered in a 70-67 overtime victory at UC Riverside. For her efforts, Fluker was named Big West Player of the Week for the second-straight week, also giving CSUN three-straight winners of the weekly award.Â
This week, CSUN faces a pair of tests from conference rivals UC Irvine and Hawai'i. The Anteaters posted a 77-52 victory over CSUN earlier this season, leading from wire-to-wire at The Bren Events Center. Andee Ritter leads UCI and the Big West with 70 3-pointers on the season and Tamara Inoue is in her first season as the head coach at UC Irvine.Â
