Matadors Will Host Multi-Events and Traditional Meet

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. --The CSUN Track & Field program will host the 2017 Northridge Invitational from Mar. 16-18 at the CSUN Track Complex. The first two days of the event will feature the multi-event athletes competing in the decathlon and heptathlon. On Sunday, Mar. 18, the Matadors will host a traditional meet on their newly surfaced track with a start time of approximately 12:15 with the men's 3000m steeplechase.

Some throwing events, namely the hammer, shot put and discus, will be held at the North Campus stadium.

Fans are advised to park in the lot at the corner of Halsted and Lindley, near Matador Field. Also note there is a CSUN Baseball series at Matador Field occurring on both Friday, Mar. 17 (2 p.m.) and Saturday, Mar. 18 (doubleheader beginning at 10 a.m.) and that parking is strictly enforced on the CSUN campus at all times.
