PHOENIX, Ariz. - Senior Felix Mory finished second and the CSUNÂ men's golf team posted its low tournament score of the season in tying for a season-best ninth on Saturday at the GCU Invitational at the Grand Canyon Championship Golf Course.
After posting team rounds of 289-290 on Friday, the Matadors closed with 298 on Saturday and slipped one spot into a tie for ninth at 25-over 877, a 54-hole season-low.
Mory had five birdies and 11 pars in carding a final round three-under 68 to finish one shot behind Pacific's Casey Scott.

"Good event and a good tournament again for Felix who played very well," said CSUN head coach Jim Bracken. "I think we're moving in the right direction, Luis also put together a good tournament, guys are showing signs of turning the corner."
