Game Two Recap
- In a game that was lopsided almost throughout, the first quarter brought the intensity as both teams held each other to only one goal as the fans were treated to a defensive show. The Matadors were led offensively by Wilson who found the back of the net five times in the game.
- The second quarter couldn't have been more different as CSUN tallied eight goals in the second, while only allowing one. All of Wilson's five goals against Austin College came in the second as the Matadors tallied the most they have scored in a quarter all season long. Butler and Sara Dempsey scored as well for the Matadors.
- CSUN would outscore the Roos 11-1 in the final half. As eight different players scored in the half for the Matadors. Cowie tallied three goals, Kylee Jansen found the net twice, as well as Beardsley, Elyse Koe, and Emily Hernandez got on the score sheet in the second half. Hernandez scored for the first time all season that was preceded by a rousing cheer from her teammates.
