The Matadors competed in five tournaments over the Fall portion of the schedule. Iowa State transfer Ekaterina Repina led CSUN in singles' victories during the Fall with eight. Her top Fall finish was a semifinal showing in the "A" flight at the Long Beach State Fall Invite.
The doubles team of senior Emma Roenholt and freshman Lisa-Marie Wurst turned in the most victories in the Fall as the pair went 10-5. Roenholt and Wurst were 2-1 during the Hawai'i Fall Invitational and were the runners-up at the CSUN Fall Invitational in the "E" flight.
CSUN went 14-6 in dual play last season, tying for fifth in the Big West with a 3-5 mark. The 14 victories were the most for the program since 2015. Matador head coach Gary Victor will begin the dual season Jan. 25 against Marymount (Calif.) and Westmont with 291 career victories (291-220).
